Silver Party Showcase. What Happens at a Silver Pop Star Party in Coventry?

Here’s a quick look at a recent Silver Pop Star Party in Coventry, and what actually happens during the party.

This group arrived together in their tour van, which made me smile before we had even started.

It always works better when everyone comes in together. They get to look around, point things out, ask a few questions, and take in the studio before the first song starts.

Getting the party started

Once everyone had settled down a bit, I gave them a quick run-through.

Then we went straight into song one.

The children had a quick soundcheck, tried a few fun bits in the studio, and then sang together to create their own version of the song they had chosen.

Pop songs and anything upbeat usually work best, of course, but most song choices are possible. We can always chat through song ideas before the party if needed.

The first group song

The first group song is a good way to get everyone involved early on.

Some children jump straight in. Others take a little longer to warm up. That is completely normal.

Once they hear everyone singing together, they usually relax and start enjoying it.

Red carpet photos

After the first group song, we moved into the Red Carpet room for photos.

This is always a fun part of the party. The children get to pose, laugh, and enjoy the moment together.

It also gives parents something lovely to look back on afterwards.

Booster buffet or Pop Star Puzzle

The Silver Party usually includes a booster buffet in the Party room.

For this party, they swapped the buffet for our Pop Star Puzzle.

They had to search the rooms for clues, put the answers together, and try to solve the final puzzle.

The prize was one of our custom branded Bluetooth speakers, so that went down well.

Second group song

With no time wasted, we got the group back together for the second song.

By this point, they had got used to the studio a bit more, so everyone joined in well.

Then it was more singing fun before we moved on to the disco finish.

Disco time to finish

To finish the party, the Live Room was quickly changed into a mini club with smoke and lasers.

This creates a really cool atmosphere at the end of the party.

The children danced, watched their red carpet photos on the screen, and often got to hear their own songs played through the speakers.

Sometimes the parents even get into the dancing too.
